Image Resizer can be used in many different applications to scale a movie clip while still maintaining ratio. This can be used in many different applications to scale a movie clip while still maintaining ratio. You must just copy and paste it from the resize.as into the first frame of your project. The script adds the global function (myResize). Parameters are set each time the function is called. The function also handles undefined maximums. For example if you have an image that it’s maximum width is 300, but you don’t care how tall it can be, (great for scrollable sites), you can leave maxHeight undefined, and it will still resize it.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
